The HERD Collective - Our 1st Annual Goat-Inspired Art Auction is Underway!!

Things are finally thawing out here at the farm!! ☀️ We’ve been BUSY this winter and we’re ready to get everyone back to the sanctuary soon! This year will be loaded with fun, family- friendly events, fundraising, and some new goat faces ready for some scratches and treats!

What we've been up to:

The volunteers aren't the only ones who have been busy these past few months. We have a group of 13 professional, local artists who have been using their time and talents to create goat-inspired art pieces for our newest annual fundraiser: The Herd Collective - Professional Art Auction. When we reached out to our local art community with the idea of an art auction to benefit the farm, they didn't hesitate to jump at the chance to contribute to support the herd. January-March are some of our hardest months since we are closed for events (due to cold and unpredictable weather), making it difficult for us to get continuous donations for hay, pellets, vet bills, and treats during this time.

We have been blown away at level of talent here in our local community! With our only requirement for the art pieces being "goat-inspired", they have created 36 beautifully unique artworks for the auction. If you haven't had a chance to check out the art work yet, hop over to the Facebook group to look, like and bid! Bidding will end this Friday, March 20th at noon EST, so there are only a few days left to claim your favorite piece!

Pickup dates for the art are Saturday, March 21st & Sunday, March 22nd from 12 - 2 pm at the sanctuary (yes you'll get to see all the goats while you're there ☺️). Shipping is available for an extra fee, so you don't need to be local to join the fun! Check out a few of the included art pieces below:

We have been so overjoyed with the turnout for our first ever goat-inspired art auction that we plan to make this an annual early spring event!
