Spring Events Kickoff: Fun Filled Days Ahead

As the days get longer and the weather starts to warm, we are so excited to officially kick off a new season at Smith Farm Goat Sanctuary! Our very first events of the year, Goat Yoga & our inaugural Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th, marks the beginning of what we know will be an incredible spring and summer filled with community, connection, and of course, goats.

Over the past few months, there has been so much hard work happening behind the scenes to get the farm ready. From prepping event spaces and sprucing up the grounds to making improvements for both our guests and our animals, it has truly been a team effort. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make sure families have a fun, safe, and

memorable experience when they visit.

And while we’ve been busy, the goats have been too! Soaking up the sunshine, exploring their fields, and getting plenty of love and care. If we had to guess, we’d say they’re just as excited as we are to welcome visitors back to the farm. There’s nothing quite like seeing guests connect with them, and we know this season will bring so many special moments.

We’re also thrilled to share that we’ve recently hosted two volunteer orientations, growing our incredible volunteer community even more. This means we’re able to provide even better support during events and continue expanding what we offer to the community. Our volunteers are such a vital part of what makes the sanctuary run, and we’re so grateful for the time, energy, and heart they bring.

Looking ahead, we have a full lineup of events planned—from family-friendly experiences like our Easter Egg Hunt to returning favorites like goat yoga, movie nights, workshops, and more. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or you’ve been part of our community for a while, there’s something for everyone this season.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to the farm, introduce you to our herd, and share everything we’ve been working on.
