Goat Surrenders

Surrendering Goats To Our Sanctuary
We understand that surrendering a goat is a difficult decision, and we deeply sympathize with the circumstances that may lead to it. At Smith Farm Goat Sanctuary, we are dedicated to providing lifelong care to our rescued goats, but as a small, donation-funded sanctuary with no full-time staff, our resources are limited. We currently care for 40 goats and must ensure that every new arrival receives the medical attention, nutrition, and proper herd placement they need to thrive.
To help us provide this level of care, we require a one-time surrender fee of $200 per goat to cover initial medical evaluations, feed, and other essential needs. Additionally, we require that you complete the form below, providing detailed information about each goat being surrendered to the Sanctuary. This allows us to assess whether we have the capacity to take them in and ensures we can properly integrate them into our herds. Please note that by surrendering a goat to Smith Farm Goat Sanctuary, you are confirming that they will remain in our care for the rest of their life.
