Volunteer Form

Attending our Volunteer Orientation is required in order to volunteer at the Smith Farm Goat Sanctuary. We offer the Orientations 4 times per year (March, April, August, September). Our next 2 Orientations are scheduled for:

Sunday, February 22nd from 2–3:30 PM
Sunday, March 22nd from 2–3:30 PM

What do we truly need help with? Working at our Monthly Events, Goat Care and collecting donations (gift certificates, silent auction items, and sponsorships). You will interact with our herd during events.

We do have a need for a few reliable, tech savvy leaders to become our Event Coordinator, Grant Research and Application Assistance, Private Encounter Conducting, Product Making for our Trading Post, etc. These are more long-term, dependable needs that we wish we could hire for, but for now, we are seeking volunteers!

Finally, in 2026, we will be seeking new Board Members. These are also unpaid roles at this time, but crucial for the success and future of the sanctuary! If you would be interested in becoming a Sanctuary Board Member for (November 2026 - November 2028), please become a volunteer and work with our current board to demonstrate interest!

A signed Liability Waiver is required for participation.
Volunteer hours are for work and helping with sanctuary needs.
