Create Your Own Juniper Bonsai Workshop

Join us for a hands-on Juniper Bonsai Workshop at Smith Farm Goat Sanctuary.

Each guest will receive their own Juniper nursery tree, a pot, wire and bonsai soil.

During this 2-hour hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of the art of bonsai, learn how to take a nursery stock Juniper and turn it into a bonsai tree. We will provide the tools, guidance and assistance with trimming the roots, determining a tree design for your tree, re-potting using traditional bonsai soil, and perform trimming and wiring of your tree to prepare it for it's first year of becoming a bonsai tree.

You will be provided with at-home care instructions to take and knowledge of how to keep your tree happy and healthy as it begins it's journey to becoming a beautiful bonsai tree.
